PARKVILLE, Mo- A suicide bombing suspected by ISIS killed 50 and wounded 100 during a football game at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee on Monday.

Of the 50 killed, 20 were University of Tennessee students. The injured were sent to Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center for further treatment, police said.

Michael Brown, a restaurant worker who was present outside the stadium, said he heard a huge explosion before he saw many first responders arrive to take the wounded to the hospital.

Joshua Cohen, a student who witnessed the bombing, said, “At first I thought it was a cracker, but the very next moment I saw many bodies lying a few meters away from me.”

Knoxville mayor Madeline Griffith, shocked by Monday’s tragedy, said all the resources available are being put to use. Mayor Griffith also confirmed that the Federal Bureau of Investigation will take over the investigation and President Obama assured her all help.

Tennessee governor Andrew Jones said, “It is not within the scope of the local police to probe the attack.” Governor Jones also said the FBI will probe the case.

White House spokesperson Jay Miller said the President has condemned the attack and will bring the perpetrators to justice.
